Madonna Wise is a local Floridian who takes great pleasure in showcasing her books and writing as well as her work as a researcher, historian, and counselor.
She has published a series of historical anthologies about small Florida towns, her life growing up in rural Indiana, and most recently, a collection of stories from frontier families with Arcadia Publishing/History Press. Madonna also writes and publishes genres which include historical non-fiction and historical fiction.
As a retired educator, Madonna enjoys presenting workshops on history, writing, publishing, and counseling for various groups throughout Florida. In 2016, she did sixty workshops which included a sold-out event at the Tampa Bay History Center, a history fair for a community college, breakfast workshops at the area Chamber of Commerce, and presentations for fledgling writers and researchers!
Always the teacher, Madonna freely shares her research and her story as well as her love of history and writing!
